The goal of our evaluations is to better-understand why your child is falling behind in acquiring and mastering the Alabama Dept. of Education (and other) learning standards. The process involves taking samples of many narrow and more general cognitive learning skills development. We then sample a wide variety of academic learning skills. Other factors (attention, emotions, etc.) are considered.

getting discouraged and is not as enthusiastic about school. You feel frustrated,
alarmed, and so sad about what your child is going through. This can change! I know
how you feel and I am here to help. I am Martin Clark, a 25-year veteran school
psychologist and I have assessed students of all ages to help them to improve their
learning skills.
Over 1500 families have allowed me to evaluate their child for possible learning
disabilities. Children who learn reading and math at slower rates suffer from a host of
negative psychological stressors. Let us work together to discover your child’s learning
